Progress of the project. Wireless remote focus control

The project will go through these steps:

    1st phase. Modifying the Varizoom EFC to work with a RedRockMicro based system.

  1. Modifying the Varizoom EFC for operation with RR M2 adapter and SLR lenses.
    Accomplished by 15th december 2006.

    2. 2nd phase. Creating an affordable wireless remote device for SLR lenses.

  2. Checking all minimum requirements can be met.
    Accomplished by 21st december 2006.

  3. Building an electronic prototype meeting minimum requirements.
    Accomplished by 16th february 2007.

    4. Waiting list available from Jan 30th 2007

  4. Prototype testing.
    Torque and range of operation succesful.
    Rest of the features in progress.

    5. Features and price poll available from Feb 14th 2007

  5. Manufacturing several units if prototype tests succeed.
    Pending.

  6. Setting the logistics to distribute units.
    Pending.
